Dr. Ahmed is a faculty member in the Department of Anatomy, Najran University, and he is an expert in clinical and basic anatomy research and curriculum development, having built innovative anatomy curricula from the ground up in many medical schools. With a unique opportunity to shape the foundational education in anatomical and biomedical sciences, Dr. Ahmed has overseen the seamless integration of anatomy with clinical medicine throughout every phase of the curriculum. ‎
Dedicated to teaching across multiple disciplines—including anatomy, neuroanatomy, histology, and embryology. ‎
Dr. Ahmed prepares future physicians, physician-scientists, and allied health professionals for clinical and research excellence. Their approach combines hands-on human cadaveric dissection experiences with cutting-edge instructional technologies, such as virtual anatomy tools, to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in a progressive academic environment. ‎
Dr. Ahmed is an expert in anatomy, histology, embryology, and medical simulation; he is a specialist with a range of publications, especially in human anatomy morphometry, medical education, and radiographic anatomy, besides other ongoing research, and he is a journal reviewer and academic editor. ‎
He is an expert in anatomical sciences, higher education, and medical education. He teaches and tutors in different medical school curricula, with experience in problem-based learning (PBL), team-based learning (TBL), distance learning, and cadaveric-based learning, and I am an expert in prosection and plastination. ‎
