The decision of His Excellency the President of the University No. 1290-1 was issued to establish a department called the Department of Housing for Faculty Members and the Like, as well as Resolution No. 4832-1-439 dated 10/08/1439 AH containing the formation of the Standing Committee for Housing, and the decision of His Excellency the President of the University No. 6327-1-439 dated 20/11/1439 AH 

Assigning a director of the Faculty Housing Department, the Housing Department was established to achieve the university's vision and aspirations with regard to the preparation of appropriate housing for faculty members and the like, and the provision and facilitation of housing services in accordance with the rules and regulations approved by the Standing Committee for Housing, and the administration seeks since its inception to provide what is commensurate with the aspirations and aspirations of the university and meet the developments that occur in housing and the beneficiaries of university housing.
