Vice Rectorship for Post-Graduate Studies and Scientific Research is committed to perform its vital role in achieving the mission of the university, which has been prepared for benchmarking national and international universities. The mission stipulates that "the provision of teaching and learning that satisfy needs of society and labor market, and effective participation in sustainable development through conducting applied research, and optimal use of recent techniques, and activating the partnership at the local, regional and global level"; hence, the vice rectorship focused on providing the attractive and motivating work environment represented in:

1. Providing attractive infrastructure including books, sources of digital information, specialized institutes and centers, laboratories and educational equipment.

2. Recruiting outstanding human resources especially innovators out of researchers, post-graduate students and technicians.

3. Benefiting from sources of external funding, provided by research centers and institutes specialized in the framework of the National Plan for science, technology and innovation for improving the research process and supporting researchers and innovators.

4. Meeting the aspirations of the employees of the university by taking the appropriate decisions in the university council and scientific council to enhance the role of the vice rectorship and better its outputs according to recognized scientific criteria.

5. Making many international agreements and collaborations with distinguished scientific institutions nationally and abroad as well as holding of scientific conferences and specialized workshops to enrich scientific research and communicate with experts in outstanding centers around the world.
