• Program Planning, Implementation and Coordination

• In collaboration with Team Leaders, Area Managers, Program Manager and Technical Advisors (TA), develop field office annual implementation plans in support of the SBR strategy.
• Work within a field implementation team to develop team plans to work toward SBR in targeted schools and communities.  Provide technical guidance on plans related to Community Participation.
• Work with technical staff to incorporate “organizational learning” objectives into field office and team plans.
• As a member of a field team, provide training and technical assistance to idara departments, schools, B0Ts and civil society organizations in support of the community participation strategy to support SBR including:
  • • Ensure quality development and implementation of School Improvement Plans (SIP)
    • Ensure team-building among principal, teachers and the BOT
    • Improve school-parental involvement in supporting student learning outcomes
    • Ensure that schools proactively and systematically serve the social and educational needs of the local community
    • Ensure strategies to mobilize communities and civil society organizations are implemented by schools and BOT
• Ensure BOT grants are properly aligned and implemented in support of clearly defined SIP objectives
• Coordinate with the ERP Adult Literacy team to ensure that literacy needs of the school and community are met
• Maintain links with Community Participation TAs in support of technical intervention packages

• Providing direct technical support to all teachers, facilitators, Inspectors, School Principles and Supervisors at the community level in NSP learning methodologies and school management to ensure successful achievement of the NSP’s CE objectives.
• Cooperating with Community Mobilization teams in targeted communities to initiate new temporary classes by participating in building- awareness campaigns.
• Providing the required support to the school’s supervisors, the head’s sectors to enable them to conduct high quality technical monitoring through using the monitoring and evaluation tools and train them on how to use them.  
  1. Providing written feedback on classroom performance using standard observation tools and reporting formats during visits to the communities and providing “on-the-job” training in the classroom.
  2. Participating in the preparation and implementing training workshops for facilitators, teachers, School Principles and Inspectors, for the following purposes; orienting and communicating the NSP strategies and philosophies and/or developing classroom areas for improvement.
