The Student Activities Committee and Student Counseling Committee at the Applied College (Main Campus) Organize the Orientation Meeting for New Students – Second Semester 1447
The Applied College (Main Campus), represented by the Student Activities Committee and the Student Counseling Committee, organized an orientation meeting for new students on Wednesday, 9 Sha’ban 1447 AH (January 26, 2026). This event reflects the College’s commitment to preparing students and establishing a successful foundation for their academic journey.
The meeting commenced with a speech by the Assistant Executive Director of the Applied College, Eng. Misfer Al-Najrani. He welcomed the faculty members and new students, congratulating them on their acceptance into their specialized fields. He emphasized the importance of discipline and diligence throughout their academic path, highlighting how these qualities contribute to expanding intellectual horizons, capitalizing on available opportunities, and refining both their scientific and practical character.
Following the opening remarks, the Head of the Academic Affairs Unit, Prof. Hani Al-Azzi, provided a comprehensive explanation of the terminology and academic procedures related to the admission and registration system, detailing how students can navigate these processes via the academic portal. Additionally, Dr. Fawaz Aqlan presented a detailed overview of the College’s website, covering its various sections as well as the services and links essential for students.
The meeting concluded with an introduction to the "Click" Club. The Club President, student Majed Al-Douhan, showcased the club’s diverse activities and events to the attendees.
