The Student Counseling Committee and Student Activities Committee at the Applied College (Female Branch) Organize the Orientation Meeting for New Students– Second Semester 1447
The Student Counseling Committee, in collaboration with the Student Activities Committee at the Applied College (Female Branch), organized an orientation meeting for new students on Tuesday, 8 Sha’ban 1447 (January 27, 2026). The event was held in the presence of the Executive Director, Dr. Arwa Al-Yami, and several faculty members. The meeting provided students with a comprehensive introduction to Najran University’s regulations and bylaws, as well as the electronic services available through the university portal.
During the session, students were introduced to the College’s scientific departments and academic programs, with an emphasis on how these programs effectively empower students with essential skills for the labor market. The presentation also highlighted the critical support role of academic advising in a university student's life. Furthermore, the Student Activities Committee was introduced, outlining its significant role in developing student skills, honing talents, and fostering a sense of participation and belonging.
The event featured a contribution from the Skills Record Ambassador, student Abeer Ali Al-Quraisha, who explained the Skills Record, its importance to students, and its effectiveness in enhancing future career opportunities. The meeting concluded by reaffirming the Applied College’s commitment to providing academic and counseling support to new students, ensuring a stimulating educational environment that contributes to their success and excellence.
